First polish pass for this month’s 11 Second Club. No lipsync yet, but i’m starting to get down to the nitty gritty, faffing with fingers, tweaking timing and sorting the spacing.

So much to do on this one, but it’s starting to come together. There’s anticipations anticipating anticipations, and some funky spacing issues. But it’s clear that HAL is talking, and i’ve got some props in for the plug pull.

Here we go again! This time it’s Jimmy Stewart doing a Space Odyssey with a love sick HAL (or, as hardcore geeks will know, his sister SAL). He’ll pull out some cables at the end, hence the big gesture (that’ll require some sim work, i think).

Fixed a bug in cgBreakDown – it now ignores fcurves with no keys (very practical idea, thanks SoftImage). This previously caused the script to error out. Grab it on the cgBreakDown page.
